About Erika Loree

Erika is a Special Education Instructional Design Lead, certified educator, and the heart behind Homeschool Joy LLC. With years of experience supporting students with IEPs, designing individualized learning plans, and guiding families through the homeschool journey, she brings a rare combination of professional expertise and real-world homeschool understanding to everything she creates. She started Homeschool Joy because she believes every child deserves a learning experience that actually fits them, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Through digital resources, online courses, curriculum consulting, and personalized tutoring, she helps homeschool families move from overwhelmed to confident so they can build a home education that works for their child and their life.

Erika teaches from the belief that every child already has what they need to succeed. They just need someone who is willing to look for it. Her approach is rooted in special education principles, which means she does not wait for a child to struggle before adjusting. She pays attention, reads the room, and meets kids where they actually are, not where a curriculum says they should be. Whether she is working one on one with a student or helping a parent build out their homeschool year, her goal is always the same: make learning feel possible, personal, and even a little fun.

Here's what I'd recommend as a starting point you can adjust: Homeschool Joy LLC — General Policies Cancellations & Rescheduling Tutoring Sessions: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session rate. You may reschedule once per month without penalty with at least 24 hours notice. No-shows (no contact, no cancellation) are charged the full session rate and forfeit the makeup session. Consulting Appointments: Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance receive a full refund or free reschedule. Cancellations under 48 hours are non-refundable but may be rescheduled one time. Makeup Sessions Makeups are offered for Erika-initiated cancellations only (illness, emergency) at no cost. Client-initiated cancellations with proper notice (24+ hours) are eligible for one makeup per month. Makeups must be scheduled and completed within 30 days of the original missed session. Makeup sessions are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Payment Accepted Methods: Credit/Debit Card Venmo - payment due before the session begins Arizona ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) - invoices provided upon request; families are responsible for submitting to ClassWallet Refunds: Digital products (PDFs, courses): no refunds once accessed, due to the nature of digital content Tutoring session packages: unused sessions may be refunded within 30 days of purchase, minus any sessions already held Curriculum consulting: no refund once the consulting call has occurred
